Prison University Project Graduates Class of 2016

By Mount Tamalpais College | July 12, 2016

On June 24th, the Prison University Project celebrated as the graduating class of 2016 received their Associates of Arts degrees, supported by friends, family, classmates, volunteer instructors and staff as they marked this new chapter in their educational lives.

For those of you who weren’t able to attend, you can watch video highlights from the ceremony in our Media Library.

“This ceremony symbolizes so much more than just ‘a few inmates’ earning degrees. This occasion represents an overall shift in our thinking, a change in our ways and in our lives.”

–Timothy Warren, Valedictory Address

Please note that the Prison University Project became Mount Tamalpais College in 2020.
