Stephany D. Baker is a visionary senior executive and culture strategist with over 25 years of transformational leadership experience across higher education and mission-driven organizations. Most recently serving as Assistant Vice President in the Office of External Relations at Stanford University, she provided cabinet-level strategic guidance to four vice presidents while overseeing initiatives serving 17,000+ students, 16,000+ staff, and $2B+ in annual operations. Her leadership spans complex organizational transformations, people-centered culture development, and building consensus
among diverse stakeholder groups during periods of significant institutional change.
Stephany is the creator of the proprietary People-Centered Organizational Community and Culture (P-COCC © ) Model, a comprehensive framework that has generated national recognition and adoption requests from 19 college, universities, and non-profits. She has presented this innovative approach to over 5,000 professionals at national conferences, positioning institutions as thought leaders in organizational excellence. Her demonstrated impact includes successfully managing department restructuring affecting 1,800+ employees, eliminating a $100K deficit at San Jose State University without layoffs, developing retention methodologies across the California State University system that
improved graduation rates by 12%, and securing Fortune 500 partnerships with Intel, Siemens, and JPMorgan at UCBerkeley’s Fung Institute for Engineering Leadership.
Throughout her career, Stephany has distinguished herself by turning organizational challenges into opportunities for sustainable growth, guided by the conviction that when people feel truly seen, heard, and valued, they rise to meet any challenge. Her expertise spans strategic planning, financial stewardship, change management, and diversity and inclusion initiatives across government, academic, and community sectors. Beyond her professional work, she serves as Director of Leadership Initiatives and Christian Education at Friendship Vallejo Church, designing transformational workshops and

Stephany holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Jose State University.
